1 Sample IMOFA Museum Walk Presentation This is a sample template of the Museum Walk that should be included in every lesson. Museum Walks features a virtual tour through the acclaimed IMOFA (Iguana Museum of Fine Arts). This presentation is designed to be viewed at your pace. To move to next or previous slides, simply click on navigation arrows or use your keyboard’s arrow keys.

2 Welcome to IMOFA, IguanaPaint Academy’s critically- acclaimed virtual Museum of Fine Arts! IguanaPaint Academy aims to offer a well-rounded arts education. As such, art history is an integral part of every lesson. We have created this PowerPoint template to make it easy for you to take your students through an inspiring tour at IMOFA during each lesson. You’ll be amazed at what you end up learning as you lead the tours. Students and parents love seeing examples of great art from the past to the present. The IMOFA tours provide an opportunity for students to see the richness of art, and to gain an appreciation for what you’re teaching. Whether it be the history of a nation, or the history of your area of art, it provides a solid foundation to build upon. With your IMOFA tours, you get to curate your own show. Let me demonstrate…

3 To provide your students an enriching experience at the Iguana Museum of Fine Arts, here’s all you have to do: Include 6-12 examples of notable works in each lesson’s Museum Walk. Search online for photos that pertain to your lesson and course. I use online search engines to find hi-quality, hi-res (large) files and save them to specific folders on my hard drive for use throughout my courses. Replace the sample images with yours. In PowerPoint’s Insert menu, select > Picture. Then locate and select your image to be inserted into the slide of choice. *Make sure you compress images to 96dpi. See Handbook for details. Resize as necessary. Height should be 6.5” and width maxxing at 9”. Add a caption with Artist, Title, and Date (if you can obtain this info). Add narration, sharing your excitement and awe over the works. Click on the comments icon in the sample for helpful tips. Have fun curating at IMOFA!
