What is Poverty? “Poverty is about not having enough money to meet basic needs including food, clothing and shelter.” (What is Poverty?, 2008) What poverty means to me personally is not having that capability to provide for a family, and what I mean by that is not being able to provide for food, a shelter, clothes, transportation anything that would not be a fulfillment to our “basic needs” -Katrina

Poverty in a Third World Country Lack of education Unstable government Crimes Poor economy Lack of medical/health care Being indebted to other countries
