Brief History Daimler is the parent company of Mercedes-Benz Manufactures cars in 13 division It was established in 1886 by Gottlieb Daimler and Carl Benz Based in Stuttgart, Germany The first Mercedes was placed on the market on December 22, 1900 Daimler AG is still known as the world’s most successful automobile companies Their goal is to “Create exciting premium automobiles that set standards in design, safety, comfort, perceived value, reliability and environmental compatibility. Produce commercial vehicles that are the best in their respective competitive environment, and outstanding service solutions related to these products.”
