3. Rationale Solid waste in Vientiane Capital about 350 tons per day
Plastic waste about 35 tons per day
There many vegetable markets and some shopping malls.
There are more than 5 small shops in each villages
Mostly people use plastic bags in daily activities
There are lack of awareness on nuisance of plastic carry bags
