2 MNS ® RPP Introduction  What is MNS ® RPP (Remote Power Panel)  ABB’s MNS ® RPP offers complete power distribution and monitoring with up to 168 poles in a compact footprint.  MNS ® RPP key features:  Safe  Reliable  Scalable  Hot swappable branch circuits  Moves, add-ons and changes are accomplished without powering down the complete RPP  Continuous monitoring with user configurable alarms  Choice of top / bottom cable entry to suit non-raised / raised floor applications © BU 3101 Low Voltage Systems August 10, 2015 | Slide 2 Introduction Value proposition Overview Mains monitoring Branch circuits monitoring Alarms indication Typical RPP application Typical communication architecture

3 MNS ® RPP Value proposition  Maximum uptime without outages  Safe, reliable operation with a complete vision of power distribution and monitoring.  Pre-outage alarms, triggered by user selectable parameters for main incomer and individual branch circuit breakers  Optimize energy usage  Assists with analysis of actual rack usage against the rack rated kW rating, helping data center operators manage power distribution more effectively.  Scalable for the future  Hot swappable branch circuits  User-friendly phase balancing capability © BU 3101 Low Voltage Systems August 10, 2015 | Slide 3 Introduction Value proposition Overview Mains monitoring Branch circuits monitoring Alarms indication Typical RPP application Typical communication architecture

4 MNS ® RPP Value proposition  Safety in a compact footprint  The SMISSLINE TP plug-in socket system is fully protected against direct contact (IPXXB).  Simple, cost-effective operation and maintenance  Outputs can be replaced easily and quickly, reducing the component non-availability time (MTTR)  Business without barriers  No matter where you are in the world, ABB expertise is nearby. © BU 3101 Low Voltage Systems August 10, 2015 | Slide 4 Introduction Value proposition Overview Mains monitoring Branch circuits monitoring Alarms indication Typical RPP application Typical communication architecture

8 MNS ® RPP Overview © BU 3101 Low Voltage Systems August 10, 2015 | Slide 8  Functional description  ABB MNS ® RPP comprises of SMISSLINE TP socket system as distribution chassis to provide IPXXB protection for the branch MCBs and facilitate ‘hot swap’ of circuits.  A ‘branch circuit management - BCM’ module is used to monitor current, power etc. in each branch circuit  A single BCM module can monitor up to 168 branch circuits i:e 4 x 42 CTs can be connected to a single BCM through wiring harness.  A ‘main feed circuit management - MFCM’ module is used to monitor current, power etc. at the main incomer  A single display unit is used to display data from both BCM & MFCM. It can also communicate serially to any BMS / DCEM Introduction Value proposition Overview Mains monitoring Branch circuits monitoring Alarms indication Typical RPP application Typical communication architecture
