17 www.mainegeneral.org Building our future: right time, right place, right care 17 The project  Build a 226-bed, 580,000-square-foot replacement hospital located on the site of the cancer center in north Augusta  Convert the Thayer Campus to a comprehensive outpatient facility and 24/7 Emergency Department which builds on recent investments including outpatient surgery  Close Augusta and Seton campuses to reduce complexity and increase efficiency

18 www.mainegeneral.org Building our future: right time, right place, right care 18 For you The majority of your care won’t change You will visit your doctor as you do now Outpatient services will remain at satellite sites in Gardiner, Oakland and Winthrop Outpatient services such as X-rays, tests, treatments such as dialysis that don’t require overnight stay will be available at Thayer and the new hospital Emergency Departments at Thayer and the new hospital will continue to serve you 24/7
