It show earth in several different dimensions to help the reader gain a better understanding of their home planet. The book tells about the different continents giving specific information on the land regions, water, climate, plants and animals.

3 Genre – Nonfiction: Atlas An atlas is a book of maps. Look for: Maps keys that help you understand the information on the maps. Scales that tell you about distance.
