Daily Routine Each day, there are two questions to answer 1 Content and 1 Culture Teacher Talk Activities Music Conversation Written exercises Assessment

Class Expectations Be prepared for class 3-ring binder Pencil Composition book (for daily questions) Be respectful in class To both students and the teacher Participate in class Study 15 minutes per night Specific topics will be mentioned as a focus at different times

Grade Breakdown 70% - Summative Assessment 9 exams 1 final project Retake Policy If a student earns below a 93% on an exam, they may retake the exam and may earn up to a 93% If a student earns below a 60% on an exam, it is strongly recommended they retake the exam, and must complete an activity showing their understanding of the material. The time period is 2 6-day cycles from the return of the exam

Opportunities for Enrichment Literacy Council of Berks County 5 students per visit will visit the literacy council and help native speakers learn English while they help the student learn Spanish Trips will be 1 per month/six weeks National Spanish Exam In March – online assessment of students from across the nation Opportunity to increase students’ Spanish proficiency Possible scholarships available
