13. Interesting Facts Every year, more than $13 billion worth of energy leaks from houses through small holes and cracks. That’s more than $150 per family. A compact fluorescent light bulb uses 75 percent less energy than a regular bulb and it can last up to four years.

14. Continued... An energy-smart clothes washer can save more water in one year than one person drinks in an entire lifetime. Surprisingly a toaster would use 1,000 watts an hour compared to 75 watts for a laptop on for the same period of time.

15. CONCLUSION Our results show that the majority of our community saves electricity. What most people don’t know is that there are many very simple ways to save electricity for example, unplugging your TV and cell phone charger or insulating your geyser.
