Attend BVSD Roche Colorado Science Research Seminar (Friday, April 29th, 2010)…Mandatory! Mentor budding science students (5 hrs.) Help elementary and middel school students create science projects; Science presentations Judge science fairs Participate in middle school symposium

Expectations Maintain a data book (graded a few times a year) Create a Poster of your research Create a PowerPoint of your research Create a Paper of your research Complete ISEF and liability paperwork Complete Weekly Progress Reports Read a Science book each semester (list to be given out soon…)

Grade Grade based on: 50% Internship (Research poster, PowerPoint, Paper) 20% Data Book 10% Weekly Meetings (progress reports and class activities/presentations) 20% Other Activities (paperwork, competitions, book reports) Final- 1 st Sem= first half of PowerPoint (presentation), Poster and Paper and databook; 2 nd Sem= Final PowerPoint (presentation), Poster and Paper; final databook and exit interview
