4 Bible Project Purpose To expose students to stories from the Bible that writers, artists, and musicians often alluded to in Western Literature. Each student will choose one story to research and study and will present the story to the class on WEDNESDAY. The student must follow the instructions for the particular project and explain the archetypes or literary devices used in the story.

Moses as a Baby and His Call to Save Israel (Exodus 1-3) 10. Moses and the Plagues (Exodus 5- 11) 11. Moses Receives the Ten Commandments (Exodus 19-20, 32- 34) 12. Joshua (1-6) 13. 6 Bible Project Choices Project Choices (Choose ONE to complete) Story Board (eight colored pictures with captions & a border) Newspaper (looks real, two feature stories, with two appropriate ads) Story (costumed when tell from a character’s viewpoint script) Play/Video (narrator and character parts scripted and acted out) News Report (scripted; can be videotaped ahead of time) Model of Story Setting (tell story using model) Puppet Show (must tell story with more than one puppet and a script) ALL PROJECTS MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE CLASS ON WEDNESDAY (10/15).

7 HOMEWORK If you have access to a Bible, please bring it to class on Friday. If you do not have access to a Bible, you may use the site biblegateway.com to complete this assignment. All of the stories in the Bible are easily accessible online.  PLEASE TELL ME TODAY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A BIBLE SO THAT I MAY GET YOU A COPY OF YOUR STORY.
