The Opportunity The position is responsible for all aspects of key account management of the nominated global OE Customer(s) throughout the Asia Pacific Region. To build and execute a customized account strategy which has a fitment portfolio to drive sales volume & margin growth of HVA tires to support maximum OE pull-through in the replacement market. Ongoing responsibility for account pricing reviews & pricing planning/management of European global accounts throughout the region and lead negotiator for platform/program level global account price & share negotiations. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Develop and maintain long term vehicle fitment plans & develop a tire fitment portfolio across each account focused on growth markets (vehicle production) in Asia Pacific supporting the share and margin targets set by the OE Consumer business. Work with EU sales teams to regularly meet with & develop parent company business relationships for Asia Pacific, particularly in Germany. Receive early notification of upcoming opportunities for new AP OE programs through leveraging advantage from Goodyear EOE fitments and focused development of European customer account channels. When opportunities are established work together with cluster Sales Directors to build business case documents for submission to the PCP Gate committee for approval to proceed. 2 Principal Duties and Responsibilities Actively manage and regularly report on sales, volume, margin, account share and other metrics for the nominated global European accounts under the incumbents charge. Direct, help coordinate and follow at a country level, global account activities involving new vehicle supply contracts, Automotive Engineering, OE Technology/Product Marketing, Customer Service & Quality Performance, Product Commercialization Process (PCP) status, and new business systems. Support the country based Sales team to develop the customer relationships at various levels necessary to drive OE business growth. Identify tires size/product options and work together with the supply chain organization & cluster based Sales Directors to develop short term and long term tire volume capacity planning & supply scenarios in support of anticipated business requirements. Stay up-to-date on tire product knowledge, new technology and consumer trends and keep management advised of all significant actions from competitors or within the Industry. To join our team you will need: Education Required: Tertiary qualification in business-related discipline. Must have ability to speak, read & write German. Desired: Excellent strategic agility - ability to crystallize account plans (short term & long term view), review OE deals and understand impact on bottom line. Experience Must be an experienced Business to Business sales/purchasing professional. Ideally has extensive experience in automotive manufacturing or the automotive parts industry. Knowledge & Skills Excellent communicator with strong customer relationship focus.
