1 Reporting to the Manager Manufacturing Planning & Scheduling EMEA, you lead and manage the network capacity planning for compound, treatment and component transfers across the complete EMEA network for the regional mixing to ensure supply within the S&OP process horizon. The Opportunity Lead EMEA production planning teams in compound, treatment and component transfers both internally and externally. Develop mitigation plans to reduce impact of unplanned machine downtime. Coordinate production plan adjustments with supply chain if impacted and standardize process. Support new product introductions in EMEA facilities and define sourcing & development requirements. Determine volume requirements throughout product life cycle, cost impact, consider raw material and CAPEX requirements and current plant line up. Develop external suppliers with EMEA procurement and PCRT teams. Determine which compound should be developed externally in order to provide regular supply, agree with supplier upon planning and ordering processes including regional forecast and specific plant ordering. Support cross functional processes, projects and teams to share and leverage knowledge and expertise in production planning processes and tools. Support operational development in Production Planning, Detailed Scheduling and Material Requirements Planning. Support strategic planning to establish increased efficiency in our future mixing network in the RvCC horizon: with production planning teams, collaborate on resolving specific plant or regional issues. Develop team work and cohesion between facilities. To join our team you will need: Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in technical discipline Experience: 5 years minimum experience within a manufacturing production planning organization familiar with lean manufacturing techniques and principles. Experience in planning processes & systems (SAP, MRP, PPDS, EDW, APO, kanban, pull) Experience in leading or supporting remote cross functional teams Experience in working with external suppliers IT skills & others: Analytical, structured & systems savy Able to drive standardization, manage processes, and understand integration points English essential - additional languages useful Adaptable and open to change Understanding of business issues, metrics and customer value Communicate effectively with all levels in the organization and assemble complete project plans Ability to lead complex projects, monitor the results, and make adjustments as needed to ensure goals are accomplished.
