The Opportunity Support European Original Equipment (OE) business by managing the relationship to Technical Management at OE car manufacturers: Work in the global Automotive Engineering coordination structure for multi-regional projects. Work with OE tire development teams in Dunlop Development Center Hanau and Goodyear Innovation Center Luxembourg through the full process of OE tire development, from Request for quotation to release in production and beyond. Communicate strategic information concerning customer feedback, Original Equipment Manufacturer & market needs (Innovation Creation Process input), strategies, opportunities & threats and competitor information to Research & Development, OE sales management and other functions. Propose actions upon and make follow-up. Create and maintain good professional relationship with customers and provide technical assistance. Build a good image of Goodyear/Dunlop at customers from both a technical & innovation capability and ethical standpoint. Monitor and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Obtain technical OE approvals for Goodyear/Dunlop products in line with business plan. To join our team you will need: Education: The candidate must have successfully completed a Bachelor or a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a similar discipline. Languages: Fluency in German and English is a must. Any other language is an asset. Experience: Minimum of 5 years technical experience in the tire or automotive industry. Experience in tire engineering is a major advantage. Knowledge of, or experience in, vehicle dynamics is an asset. IT, Soft Skills & others: Ability to establish excellent internal and external customer relationships Good communication and presentation skills. Easy contact & flexible. Open minded. Good negotiation skills Team player as well as ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment Willing to travel 20-30% of the time in Europe, mainly in Germany. Good knowledge of O365, Lotus Notes and MS Office programs. Goodyear is one of the world’s largest tire manufacturers.
