2. Transvestites A Transvestite is a person who cross-dresses. Any one who wears clothing that is usually associated with the opposite gender could be called a transvestite. 4. The Male Transvestite The male Transvestite wears female undergarments and uses makeup to achieve a female appearance.

5. The Homosexual Transvestite Dresses for vanity or to be sexually attractive to other men.

6. Gay men There are also gay men who dress occasionally in a style defined as camp.

7. The Heterosexua l Transvestite Compulsive in his cross- dressing, and in the beginning his cross- dressing is for erotic needs.

8. Transsexual The Transsexual male or female perceives his or her gender identity as not in place with the anatomical reality and seeks to resolve the conflict through sex- reassignment surgery.

10. The feeling The Transsexual usually has had feelings of being “not right” from early childhood.

11. Surgery Surgery is the final step in a process that takes many years of thought and more years of planning in a transsexual’s life.

12. Steps; some reversible and others irreversible Men have both facial hair and body hair, some electrolysis is recommended. Having to shave is a reminder that they are still male. Hormonal changes. Men take estrogens (female hormones), and his body will start to change.

13. Estrogens The tissue around his breasts will enlarge, and depending on his build and the estrogen dosage, he can achieve anywhere from an AA cup to a B cup. Thins out body hair. Hips enlarge. Gains extra weight. Will no longer be able to achieve an erection after 6 months to a year.

14. What apple? Choose to have plastic surgery. Either on their noses or Adam’s apple to achieve a more feminine appearance. Bye Bye Adam’s Apple! Last but not least they go through a genital surgery.

15. Billy Tipton Was born in 1914. He began living as a man full-time by 1940 at age 26, had a career as a jazz and swing pianist and entertainer, a common law marriage (unregistered but publicly accepted), and three sons by adoption. He was discovered to have been female-bodied after he died in 1989 due to a hemorrhaging ulcer (that he refused to have treated). Like many female-to- male transsexuals of his day he did not have genital surgery.
