4  The immune system enables the body to fight off illness and infection on a daily basis. While we are usually unaware of it, we are constantly surrounded by a multitude of viruses, bacteria, microbes, parasites, and toxins that pose a potential threat to our health.

5  Immune deficiency may occur for any number of reasons. Whatever the cause, people who have a compromised or weakened immune system tend to be more inclined to catching the flu, colds, or infections that they would normally be resistant to.

6 Life style factors that effects of immune system Poor diet (malnutrition). Stress. Not enough sleep. Poor hygiene habits( must be washing hands regularly and keeping a clean living environment. Some medication like corticosteroids or medications used after organ transplants. Chemotherapy. Regular use of antibiotics.

12  it is very important to have good oral hygiene. When you visit your dentist, he/she can provide a number of fluoride gels and medications to help your mouth stay healthy.  and advice her to :  ( chew sugar free gum, limit caffeine intake).
