If you want to know if an essential oil is pure, inspect it!  Often, you can detect poor quality oils by their oily, bitter, rancid or perfumey nature.  When you smell a pure essential oil, you will notice that it smells crystal clean and natural. You can also try testing the feel of different brands of essential oils.  If the oil is pure, it should easily absorb into your skin without feeling slick or oily.   You can also try dabbing a little on your fingertip and stick on your tongue.  If it has a fake, bitter taste, it is most likely synthetic. Most oils available today are poor quality and should never be taken internally.

11. THEY KILL VIRUSES AND BACTERIA
Antibiotics cannot penetrate cell membrane
Essential oils CAN penetrate cells to kill viruses and bacteria
They are actually more powerful than medications.
Bacteria are found on the outside of cell walls and Viruses are on the inside of the cells

If an oil doesn’t work its usually because you have DX yourself wrong or you are not using the right oil. Interestingly enough, some oils are amazing for muliple things such as lemon and peppermint, lavender as examples.
