2 A bibliography is a list of books, articles and other sources you use when researching a topic and writing a paper. It will appear at the end of your paper. The bibliography is sometimes called Works Cited or Works Consulted.

3 Why do we create a bibliography? If you use someone’s work, you should cite it, and you could be accused of plagiarism.( word-for-word) It shows that you did research. You don’t take credit from someone else. It can be used to guide people to other references or resources.

4 What is Plagiarism? to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own. to use (another's production) without crediting the source to commit literary theft to present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source

5 Using the MLA format to create a Bibliography A Bibliography stands as its own page. A Bibliography is listed in alphabetical order. Every line after the first line is indented.
