8 Little Engineer’s Motor Kit :  Activity kit specifically made for children 7 years and older.  A simple, build-it-yourself frictionless electrical motor with built-in generator that regenerates energy into a storage cell.  Motor kit includes a software package that teaches kids to become junior engineers by “installing” the motor in their choice of vehicle.  The simulation will allow the kids to compare the performance of their electric motor to a gas motor in the same vehicle (via racing against the gas vehicle, environmental impacts of each vehicle, etc.).  Basic graphics and instructions will allow the design process to be fairly easy to understand so that minimal adult supervision is required and children will learn “on their own”.
