3. Nationalism – What is it? At your table groups, brainstorm what bonds create the nation-state of the USA. ◦ Social bonds, political bonds, economic bonds? Write down as many ideas as you can come up with of things that tie us together. ◦ Write them down, even if you think you are wrong.
