4 Central Information Commission (CIC)
The Central Information Commission (CIC) set up under the Right to Information Act is the authorized body, established in 2005, under the Government of India to act upon complaints from those individuals who have not been able to submit information requests to a Central Public Information Officer or State Public Information Officer due to either the officer not having been appointed, or because the respective Central Assistant Public Information Officer or State Assistant Public Information Officer refused to receive the application for information under the RTI Act.

5 Computerization and Computer Networking of Consumer Forums in Country (CONFONET)
CONFONET provides a single-window solution for automation of activities undertaken at the Consumer Forums at the National, State (35 State Commissions) and district level (600 district fora). The project has provided an ICT solution to achieve efficiency, transparency and e-governance at the consumer forums and has facilitated disposal of cases in a time bound manner. The registration of complaints, recording of court proceedings, issue of notices, generation of cause lists, recording of judgments, record-keeping and generation of statistical reports etc. are carried out through the Case Monitoring application software.

6 E-Courts Project The e-Courts project was conceptualized on the basis of the “National Policy and Action Plan for Implementation of information and communication technology (ICT) in the Indian Judiciary – 2005” submitted by e-Committee (Supreme Court of India), with a vision to transform the Indian Judiciary by ICT enablement of Courts. The objectives of the project are:  To help judicial administrations of the courts in streamlining their day-to-day activities To assist judicial administration in reducing the pendency of cases. To provide transparency of information to the litigants. To provide access to legal and judicial databases to the judges.

7 Immigration, Visa and Foreigner’s Registration & Tracking (IVFRT)
In order to Modernize and upgrade the Immigration services, “Immigration, Visa and Foreigners Registration & Tracking (IVFRT)” has been identified and included as one of the MMPs to be undertaken by the Ministry of Home Affairs under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). The core objective of this Project is to develop and implement a secure and integrated service delivery framework that facilitates legitimate travelers while strengthening security.

8 National Animal Disease Reporting System(NADRS)
National Animal Disease Reporting System(NADRS) involves a computerized network, integrating both MIS and GIS, which would link each block, district and the State / UT headquarters in the country to the Central Disease Reporting & Monitoring Unit (CDRMU) in the DADF at New Delhi with the objective to monitor 143 animal diseases through 7000 locations at sub-district level in the country. Gadagl is having three NADRS nodes in the district and vpn was established at the nodes to connect to NADRS server.

9 Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan (NBA)
The Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan (NBA) is a comprehensive program to ensure sanitation facilities in rural areas with broader goal to eradicate the practice of open defecation. Users can find progress and financial reports of this scheme. Statistics on the progress of this program in various states are also provided. Graphic reports and alerts are also given.

10 Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act(MGNREGA)
This project aims at improving the rural people, primarily semi or un-skilled work to people living below poverty line in rural India. It attempts to bridge the gap between the rich and poor in the country. The objective of the project is to provide employment to those who demand employment within 15 days of their demand. It provides 100 days of employment guarantee to a rural household. Modules of Software

11 Regional Transport Offices Project
Vahan & Sarathi provides total automation of Regional Transport Office (RTO) transactions comprising of Fee and Tax, all stages of Registration, License, Permit and Enforcement through workflow based system.

12 National Rural Livelihoods Mission(NRLM)
Immediately after logging into NRLM Transitory MIS if the user gets Location Masters Standardization screen, it means the district has not completed the Location Masters Standardization process. So first you have to complete this task and then only you will be able to proceed for SHG entry option. This is because the correctness of Location Masters is very important before entering SHG data. Please first complete this task and inform your State NRLM Transitory MIS Nodal officer to check the changes (if any) made and then to forward the request to us for reflecting the changes in live tables and for giving permission for SHG data entry.

13 Child Tracking System The Ministry of Women and Child Development is implementing a Centrally Sponsored Scheme, namely the Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS) since The objectives of the scheme are to contribute to the improvement in the well being of children in difficult circumstances, as well as to the reduction of vulnerabilities to situations and actions that lead to abuse, neglect, exploitation, abandonment and separation of children. The Scheme, also envisages for creating a mechanism for tracking 'missing' and 'found' children under ICPS and Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act,2000 ( JJ Act). Therefore, this Ministry had entrusted National Informatics Centre (NIC) to develop a national portal Track Child which not only have data on 'missing' children but it also have live database to monitor the progress of the 'found' children who are availing various services in different Child Care Institutions (CCIs) under the ICPS and the JJ Act.

14 NICNET Based Agricultural Marketing Information System Network (AGMARKNET)
Agricultural Marketing is an area for the "second generation" of green revolution problems. Indian Marketing is undergoing a significant metamorphosis because of economic liberalization and globalization. Infrastructure development is the critical factor for determining the success of market-oriented strategy and macro-economic policies in developing countries. Both national and global players are trying to capture the urban markets of India, which has already reached a saturation level, and it is extremely difficult to tap the urban markets with high profit margin. In export market, a firm has to face challenges from Multi-National Corporates (MNCs), other foreign companies and domestic firms of the concerned export markets. While urban market or export market is difficult to plough, rural market is relatively easy and feasible to cultivate, in India.

16 Ahara The Ahara website is a unique exercise carried out, to popularize the Governments Food Policy towards Below Poverty Line (BPL) beneficiaries.  Ahara website holds About 50 lakhs BPL family particulars. Details of 20,000 Fair Price Shops. Daily Retail prices of essential commodities of all the districts. Citizens Charter and Scheme details TPDS and other particulars. District wise allotment of food grains.

17 Arms Licensing Information System
All matters pertaining to Arms and Ammunition such as acquisition, possession, manufacture, sale, import, export and transport are governed by the Arms Act, 1959 and the rules framed thereunder namely. Under Section 3 (1) of the Arms Act, 1959 no person can acquire or possess or carry any firearms or ammunition unless he holds in this behalf a license issued in accordance with the provisions of the Arms Act and the rules made thereunder.

18 Bhagyalakshmi Scheme Bhagyalakshmi scheme was launched during with an objective to promote the birth of girl children in below poverty line families and to raise the status of the girl child in the family in particular and society in general. All girl children born in below poverty line families after are eligible to be enrolled as beneficiaries under the scheme which is allowed upto one year of the birth of the girl child on production of birth certificate. The benefits are restricted to two girl children in a BPL family.

19 Common Integrated Police Application (CIPA) - Excise
Common Integrated Police Application (CIPA) - Excise aims at automation of all functions carried out at the Excise police stations. Initially only FIR Module has been taken up.

20 E-Attendance Monitoring System
e-Attendance Monitoring System is state of the art attendance monitoring system using biometric technologies. This system has several features including enrollment of employees, capturing attendance, update leave and update holidays at the client system. This system can generate various reports like daily attendance and monthly attendance reports. Also this system transfers data automatically to web server, Various reports like Daily Attendance, Monthly Attendance, Data Transfer Status, Staff related statistical reports can be viewed on the web office-wise 

21 E-Swathu Property records maintained in the GPs are being maintained under the rules prescribed under Karnataka GP (Budget and Accounts Rules), Though the primary objective of maintaining such documents is to collect the tax, in the absence of no other property document for non agricultural properties in the jurisdiction of GPs, Form-9 and Form-11 is being used as property documents to identify the land parcel for registration purpose.

22 E-Yojane E-Yojane helps in compiling the requirements of the plan amounts of Grama Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat and the Zilla Panchayat. It is used to prepare the perspective plan of the Grama Panchayat,Taluk Panchayat and the Zilla Panchayat 

23 Bhoomi Software Bhoomi project was taken up the Government of Karnataka to digitize the paper land records and create a software mechanism to control changes to the land registry in Karnataka. The project was designed to eliminate the long-standing problem of inefficiency and corruption in the maintenance of land records at dispersed and poorly supervised taluka offices.  

24 Supply Tracking for KFCSC
Food grains Input and Supply Tracking for KFCSC Karnataka Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited is a Government of Karnataka undertaking established under the Companies Act on September 7th 1973 with the primary objective of procurement, lifting and distributing food grains under the Public Distribution System (PDS) aid implementing various other schemes of the government. 

25 Nadakacheri Software The Government of Karnataka envisaged that all the Revenue services would be accessible to the common man at the Hobli level through transparent, reliable and affordable means. In this regard GOK has started revenue offices at hobli level which are meant for the electronic delivery of citizen services in rural areas were named as Atalji Janasnehi Kendras. 

26 Panchatantra System Panchatantra is a web-based application with 3-tier architecture. The Panchatantra system is a comprehensive system, meeting all the requirements of the GPs. It has been built with number of features for easier use by the GP staff. Panchatantra has been designed by incorporating the rules and regulations defined in Panchayath Act. It guides the officers to carry out his/her GP activities as per the rules. In this system, users can submit the details of various properties, Beneficiaries, Works, and generate various forms as per requirement. They can also view various reports maintained by the department.

27 Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corporation Limited
The Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corporation Limited aims to cater the housing needs of the economically and socially weaker sections of the society. Users can find information on the scheme, its purpose, objectives, new initiatives, achievements, public participation, etc. Details of funds, habitat policies, Koushalya Shaale, Building Materials Bazaar, waitlist, etc. 

28 Sakala Sakala Act helps citizens get government services without hassles and on time, and to hold government officials accountable. It covers all government bodies, public sector companies and non-government bodies financed by government.

29 Tanksoft Tanksoft was developed and implemented for monitoring 'Rejuvenation of Tanks' scheme of the Govt of Karnataka. This is being used effectively by the govt for monitoring purposes. This software captures the photos of these works - before starting and after completion - and GPS coordinates of the location of the tank.

30 Village Accountant Recruitment
All the village accountant recruitments are happening through Online Recruitment website. Complete technical support is provided to the Deputy Commissioner's staffs regarding this.

31 Video Conferencing Services
National Informatics Centre is a premier IT organization under Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Government of India. It provides Videoconferencing facilities and technical support to the Ministry & Department of the Government of India as well as State Governments.

32 (Gandhi Sakshi–Abhi Tantra System)
Worksoft (Gandhi Sakshi–Abhi Tantra System) Work soft, Works Monitoring System, is a web-based application to enter and monitor the developments works taken up in RDPR. It will enable the Officers/engineers to enter the work stages, as and when it takes place. It has been built with business rules of the work execution and has system controls. It assists the department officers at various levels to easily monitor the development works. It also puts all the works in public domain for transparency.

33 Krishi Marata Vahini Through Agricultural Produce Market Committees, establishment of Market Yards, submarket yards and developing and maintaining the market yards and sub market yards. Enforcing the regulatory measures in respect of sale and purchase of Agricultural produce brought by the Agriculturist to the market yards, providing a platform to ensure competitive prices, correct weighment, payment and creating an exploitation free atmosphere by preventing illegal activities in the marketing of agricultural produce. Regulating the activities of warehouses by enforcing the licensing conditions, establishment and maintenance of laboratories for the purpose of grading of agricultural produce in the State.

35 Revenue Management Information System
Revenue Management Information System was developed with the aim of simplifying the process of submitting reports about monthly improvements in various revenue subjects to The Regional Commissioner. Reports about subjects like Agriculture, Audit, Land encroachment, Rainfall etc., are submitted on monthly basis.

37 HRMS HRMS package is developed for Karnataka State Govt Employees. Guidance and support is given to the staffs when they find any difficulty with the package.

38 Karnataka State Wide Area Network
Three KSWAN engineers are deployed in Gadag District. Technical guidance is given to the issues raise by them.

39 Digital Service Running in Gadag District

40 eOffice The eOffice product aims to support governance by ushering in more effective and transparent inter and intra-government processes. The vision of e-Office is to achieve a simplified, responsive, effective and transparent working of all government offices.

41 Gadag District Portal District Website which contains all the updates, Statics, Notifications and other district related information updated continuously.

42 GPVP Reservation System
Local Application Before this software, it was very difficult for the DC officials to fix the reservation for Gram panchayath President and Vice Presidents and they use to work with more than 20 officials for one full day for one taluka. By using this software 2-3 officials can finish the process in one and half hour per taluka. This saved lot of man power and time. This software is executed in a taluka place front of all the elected members of Gram panchayath (around 700 members) in an open hall. Since this process involves lot of logical conditions and hence, was leading to confusion to members as well as the officials to answer any queries. To overcome this confusion and to bring the transparency in this process the Deputy Commissioner has requested to develop this software.

43 Webcasting Web Portal Through Third Party Application An application was developed locally for webcasting. Using this DC/CEO can communicate to all the locations where there is no Video Conferencing facility. And also its help in election purpose to monitor polling station, counting center and others.

44 Network Monitoring Network Monitoring Portal NIC network is continuously monitored. This reports the access of malicious websites or unwanted websites by the users. Websites which are not required can be blocked from accessing.

45 Student Internet World
The “Students Internet World Program is an initiative from the Karnataka Government, Department of IT, BT&ST to promote ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) to the School students community and it is conducted across the states during the month of November.
