USHC Analyze the decision of the United States to enter World War II, including the nation’s movement from a policy of isolationism to international involvement and the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor Kevin Latham

2 Isolationism The U.S. adopted a policy of isolationism in order to stay out of foreign affairs after WW1 Wanted to avoid another European war Growing tensions in Europe and Asia led to a transition to involvement in foreign affairs

The following day, U.S. declares war on Japan In turn, Germany declares war on U.S. The U.S. enters WW2
