13 MRHS Boosters Club Fundraising Athletic Programs
Fine Arts Programs Clubs Extra-curricular Activities School Wide Improvements Can anyone guess how much we have raised over the past 9 years? On behalf of the MRHS Boosters Club, welcome to the freshman and new student orientation. My name is Jo Ann Kohler and I’m the Boosters president. I have been a parent at the school since 2007 and will continue to have a student here until my fourth child graduates in 2019. The Marriotts Ridge Boosters Club is just one of the parent organizations. Our role is to serve as the fundraising arm of the school. With the money we raise,. During this school year, we have a budget of over $108,000. A few of the things we are paying for are: athletic uniforms for baseball, softball, girls and boys basketball and girls lacrosse, new equipment for the school weight room, show design for the marching band, theater rights for student productions, National Honor Society stoles, new Madrigal costumes, new chairs and music stands for the music departments and club funds for Speech & Debate, Culinary, FBLA, Model UN, Science Oylmpiad, Robotics and many others. (Possibly ask for guesses on how much we’ve funded over past nine years)
