4 Teaching with Dramatized Experiences
Dramatic experiences come next to contrived experiences in the cone of experience. Do these dramatic experiences require us to be dramatic in our entrance and in our lesson presentations?

5 Teaching with Dramatized Experiences
Dramatic is something that is stirring, affecting or moving. Dramatic Entrance is something that catches and holds attention, and has emotional impacts.

6 Teaching with Dramatized Experiences
Dramatized Experiences can range from: Formal Plays Pageants Tableau Pantomime Puppets Role-playing

20 Demonstrations in Teaching
Using demonstration in classroom: Establish rapport. Avoid COIK fallacy (Clear Only If Known) Watch for key points Make your audience feel at ease by your warmth and sincerity. COIK is an assumption that what is clear to the demonstrator is also clear to the audience. Recognize blocks on learners and highlight them in some way.

21 Demonstrations in Teaching
Point to Remember A good demonstration is an audio-visual demonstration. Before demonstration: set objectives, prepare materials, plan the steps, and rehearse. During demonstration: sustain the interest of the audience, keep it simple, check for understanding, have a summary, and provide hand-outs (if possible).

22 Making the Most of Community Resources

24 Making the Most of Community Resources
Field Trips must be planned precisely. Preliminary planning (teacher) Secondary planning (teacher and other people) Taking the field trip Post-field trip follow-up.

25 Making the Most of Community Resources
During planning: Plan the entire lesson (of the field trip). Arrange with school heads the details of the trip. Plan then contact the places to visit. Provide a route plan. Discuss objectives, procedure, and other things concerning the lesson with the students. Communicate with the parents. Discuss safety measures, and safety guidelines.
