Extensions (EER) & Extenuating Circumstances (EC's) Coursework Deadline Extensions: Depending upon the circumstances up to a maximum 10 day extension can be given for a piece of course work by the course leader. –Use EER1 forms and submit to Course Leader along with work completed so far. They will make a decision. –DON'T ASSUME YOU WILL BE GRANTED AN EXTENSION Extenuating Circumstances: If your performance or attendance is affected by something uncontrollable. We will try to take these into account. –In the first instance contact your course leader/tutor –Submit EC1 form explaining the circumstances & provide accompanying evidence to course leader –Requests are either supported or not by Course Leader & then considered by an independent university panel Please Do Not Miss Examinations!
