4. St Petersburg (founded in1703 ) The first remarkable landmark Is St Petersburg, which sparkles Like shining star in Russian North. Peter the Great brought it forth.

5. Moscow (founded in1147) Grand Moscow is both ancient and modern. St. Basil’s Cathedral is one of its wonders Christ the Savior’s Temple, Arbat and Bolshoi…. Hundreds of landmarks which you will enjoy.

6. Trans-Siberian Railroad (9,259 km /5,753 mi long) Grand Trans-Siberian Railroad Will take you to the Far East end You’ll see taiga, Baikal and vast expanse. You’ll love my country at a glance!

7. Novosibirsk (founded in 1893) Deep in the country, in Eastern Siberia, There is its capital -Novosibirsk. We invite you to visit it and feel its pulse - The city develops like nothing else!

8. Novosibirsk: then and now My city is young but its history counts. It stands on the Ob, such a beautiful river! There is Akademgorodok - town of Science, There are so many terrific theatres.

15. Population It took only 70 years for Novosibirsk to become a city with the population of one million people – and it was even faster than Chicago's growth rate during those times. Unfortunately it hasn’t grown much since then – its population is 1, 397, 213 inhabitants (2009).
