2 The new digital world In schools today, technology is becoming more prevalent and standard books and written text are becoming more obsolete. 3 www.turnitin.com This website is a great tool for teachers to use to help prevent cheating on assignments. Students login and submit their work and it is checked for plagiarism. Turnitin.com checks for originality and use of proper citation. Also, it is a great site where teachers can post responses to their student’s work and provide feedback.

6 Computer-Enriched Literature New programs are becoming increasingly available that turn literature into computer-based text presentations. The most widely known of these is Microsoft Reader An ever increasing number of books are becoming available electronically which allows the aid of such programs.

7 The Kindle The kindle is another new reading device used for reading books electronically. The screen looks similar to paper and it can download books in as little as 60 seconds. It is very thin and light making it easy to transport and use on the go.
