2 This project is supported by the European Union 2 BIM - Baltic Income and Mobility The project aims to provide information and best practice solution regarding the impact of labour mobility and the Directive on Services on the industrial relations in the Baltic Sea Region. Specific ojective: Improvement of the state of knowledge of the social partners Improvement of the transnational dialog concerning labour mobility Enhancement of the ability to act concerning labour mobility and give advice for explicit actions in future concerning labour mobility; - finding best practise solution - common consultation - common resolution

3 This project is supported by the European Union 3 BIM - Baltic Income and Mobility Therefore the project enhance  Exchange of information in the field of industrial relations in the Baltic Sea Region  Improvement of mobility in Europe and in the Baltic Sea Region  Research for best practice of handling mobility  Transfer of best practise to all regions of the EU as well as to candidate states  joint statement to mobility with social partners

The project is focused on the industries  Building and contracting industry  Food processing industry  Service industry  Tourism industry  Hotel and restaurant industry and the impact of labour mobility and the Directive on Services on  Employment/unemployment  Wages  Social freedom  Social welfare

6 This project is supported by the European Union 6 BIM - Baltic Income and Mobility The project construction is based on three systematically constructive pillars First pillar: Study: Impact of labour mobility and the Directive on Service on the industrial relations in the Baltic Sea Region Glossary: labour mobility and industrial relation in the Baltic Sea Region Second pillar: Baltic Mobility Conference 1 in Hamburg Baltic Mobility Conference 2 in Szczecin Third pillar: Common statement with social partners

7 This project is supported by the European Union 7 BIM - Baltic Income and Mobility First Block Time slot: 15 th January - 5 th May Action 1: Study Compiling of a study to the impact of labour mobility and the Directive on Services; discussion of the first results on the Baltic Mobility Conference 1. The study aims to provide an basic information regarding the impact of labour mobility and the Directive on Services on the industrial relations in the Baltic Sea Region.

8 This project is supported by the European Union 8 BIM - Baltic Income and Mobility Study - work packages 1) Literature and internet research as well as data evaluation to get objective fact-driven foundation about the current effects of labour mobility. 2) Research to the positive and negative impact of labour mobility on industrial relations 3) Written interviews of the relevant actors in the eight countries of the Baltic Sea Region 4)Interviews with at least 10 experts in field of industrial relations in the eight countries of Baltic Sea Region 5)Inquiry of best practise in the field of industrial relations by handling labour mobility 6)Comparison of the policy and procedures in the EU and the countries of Baltic Sea Region 7)Guidelines and recommendations of explicit actions in view of labour mobility in future

9 This project is supported by the European Union 9 BIM - Baltic Income and Mobility Action 2 – Baltic Mobility Conference 1 The conference should provide a basis for about 50 participants of the social dialog in the eight countries to get together for an exchange of experiences and information Aim of the Baltic Mobility Conference 1 in Hamburg presentation of the first outcomes of the study basis for first steps to a common statement to labour mobility and industrial relation
