2 Mission Overview Objective: Our satellite “The Stabilizer” shall ascend to 30 kilometers carrying a CCD video camera that will record a fixed image of the Earth throughout the flight We intend to prove that image stabilization on a near space balloon satellite is posible and practical The idea of image stabilization on a near space satellite is relatively unexplored and could yield to a wider variety of possible uses for near space satellites.
