1 Engineering H193A - Team Project Gateway Engineering Education Coalition P. 1Spring Quarter 2004 Engineering H193A Continue Cell Adhesion (Lab 3) Complete Worksheet #2 Work on Chip Designs Schedule Update Week 3 Day 3

2 Engineering H193A - Team Project Gateway Engineering Education Coalition P. 2Spring Quarter 2004 Chip Design Hints Each channel needs to have the same or very similar flow and shear stress profile 1 channel should be smooth, other 3 are your choice Keep in mind that you will have to use it for MANY experiments. Robustness should get high priority in your design. Identify the patterns you intend to use on each channel Keep in mind the file naming convention. –.DWG file used for photomask should have nothing in it that is not intended to be reproduced on the wafer –Other dimensioned drawings can be included in your project notebook.

3 Engineering H193A - Team Project Gateway Engineering Education Coalition P. 3Spring Quarter 2004 Schedule Update Today: Brainstorming ideas, sketches, and design strategy –Patent Search Assignment Monday: Design Revisions based results of cell adhesion experiment (Lab 3), Final.DWG files due at end of session. Wed: Lab 2-3 Memo Due, Team Peer Evaluation Due (Not for grade) Thur and following Mon: FLUENT Simulation work in ER6 Computer Lab (097 Watts)
