3 9/21/06 Justice League Satellite 3 Primary Mission The Primary Mission of the Justice League is to design, implement and evaluate an onboard drag driven generator with the ultimate goal to power onboard BalloonSat systems, replenish battery charge to extend payload operations, and reduce the need of high volume battery banks. 4 9/21/06 Justice League Satellite 4 Secondary Missions The secondary missions of the Justice League BalloonSat include collecting sensory information on the near-space environment, to provide a degree of survivability of a high velocity impact, and insulate for extreme cold temperatures. Sensory measurements include imagery collection on the earth’s surface and horizon using light and infrared/ultra- violet photography, BalloonSat rise and return velocities, internal and external temperatures, and humidity.
