3. Nizar Mabroukeh, 20003 Contents of Progress Report  Table of contents.  Abstract (half a page).  Introduction (including background and literature survey).  Details on design methodology using block diagrams for hardware design or data flow diagrams (DFD) for algorithms.

Nizar Mabroukeh, 20004 Other important notes  A progress report should convey a brief description of progress done in a form similar to an extended summary (4-5 pages).  The progress report should relate to action plan and elaborate on jobs accomplished whether they are pure literature survey, analysis or actual hardware or software design

Nizar Mabroukeh, 20005 Other important notes  It should have sections and subsections.  It should include flow charts wherever programs are involved or detail hardware schematics whenever they are ready.  A background section. All definitions, theorems, etc. are provided. Illustrative examples should be included.
