3 Administrator Desktop Administrator Desktop provides the same information as Manager Desktop: Provides easy to use pages which display personal information, job information, job history, leave balances, additional payments Provides drill-down capability of reporting hierarchy Provides University wide access, whereas Manager Desktop is limited to direct report information only. Navigation is via M-Pathways; Administer Workforce, Administer Workforce (GBL), Inquire Administrator Desktop will be available on May 23, 2007

4 Security New security role Role Name - HR ADMIN DESKTOP VIEWER and will be added to the M1-HRMS form on May 23 This is an operational role and requires an M-Token This new role was added to the existing roles: HR TOTAL APPOINTMENT VIEW USER HR APPT VIEWER Suggestions for who may need access to this application: Unit HR/Financial representatives University executives Suggestions for who should not have access to this application: Administrator/secretary who requests this because their boss does not want to use Manager Desktop NOTE: Provides University wide access

5 MAIS Communication Plan May UL meeting May 23, 2007, MAIS will send an HRMS Update which includes several items including Administrator Desktop announcement. Unit Liaisons will be included in this communication.
