22. MECH Southern Research Institute in Birmingham, AL This term introduced me to new ideas. I was exposed to new ways of thinking and programs useful in collecting and organizing data such as Excel and Viewdac.

23. CIVL Gallet & Associates in Birmingham, AL During my second term co-oping at Gallet, I continued working with the Geotechnical Department alongside the project engineers. I also supervised a construction crew that was drilling piers. I was lowered into one of the excavated holes 20 feet underground to examine the soil undisturbed.
