2. Network Neighborhood Double-clicking on this icon opens the Network Neighborhood window, which displays icons representing resources available to you on your network. This applies only if your computer is connected to a network.

4. Windows Manipulation All Windows 95 applications run inside a resizable window, most window95 windows have the following bars: –Title Bar –Menu Bar –Status Bar

5. Title Bar The Title Bar (placed at the top of every window): this is used to display the icon of the currently open application and the name of that application (at the far left). Also, at its far right, the title bar contains the Minimize, Maximize and Close buttons as shown below.

6. Menu Bar This contains buttons which, when pushed down, will release a pull-down menu that will contain options. The entries of the menu bar will vary depending on the application currently run inside the window, but the File, Edit, View and Help menus will be present with most applications.

8. Status Bar This is used to display information about the currently open window, for example, when My Computer window is open, its status bar will display the number of objects stored in this folder.
