11. Kansas Science Assessment (2010-11 data; waiting on 2011-12): BVW Science Department Teaching; BVW Students Learning. BVW had the highest % of students scoring a 5: Exemplary BVW had the highest % of students scoring a 3 or higher. BVW had the lowest % of students scoring a 2 or lower. In fact, BVW best in all categories but one (BVH had 1% more 4s and 5s).

12. Value Added by Course: BVW Students that take Physics score 2.0 - 5.6 ACT Science Reasoning points higher than those that do not take Physics.

13. BVW PTO Please join. Please support. PTO gives back to BVW students through grants to teachers and sponsors for equipment beyond what the school budget will allow. In the past 6 years, PTO has granted at least $16,474 for data collection sensors (Physics), electronic balances (Chemistry), and clickers (Science Department).
