2  In February 2005, Global CEO PatrickCescau took his office, which ends the situation that there were two headquarters and two global CEOs. At the same time, the original 14 major global regional integration operations were integrated into three major areas - the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa region. The original Ministry of Food, Ministry of Home and Personal Care business group and other eleven groups were cancled.  Management power is mastered by the Group CEO and his newly formed group. These group members will test directly by the General CEO and are responsible to him. Unilever integrates the three business world, which ends the long-term fragmented situation of the three business units and unifies personnel management, office and financial operations.

4 Why choose it?   Allow its team to focus upon a single product or service, with a leadership structure that supports its major strategic objectives.  Having its own president or vice president makes the divisions more to receive the resources it needs from the company.  A division's focus allows it to build a common culture and esprit de corps that contributes both to higher morale and a better knowledge of the division's portfolio.  It is far preferable to having its product or service dispersed among multiple departments through the organization.
