5 The Process You Should Do Prior to Submitting an Electronic Sign Up Sheet Meet with your counselor and obtain an accommodation letter.Make an appointment to meet with your Professor to review your accommodation letter and testing accommodations. At this meeting, you should suggest times that work for your schedule/extended time needs and that are within the ODS office hours to take your exam.Fill out Single Test Sign-up form as necessary per exam per class on-line at least 3 business days in advance or we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your request.
6 Tips for Discussing Exam Conflicts with Your Instructors Schedule a meeting with your instructorPrepare for this meeting by having a list of dates and times that will work for your scheduleMake sure that these proposed dates and times are not unreasonable and that you can justify why the time or date is an optionRemember:Professors generally do not mind if students start their exams earlier than the class if the times overlap; however, each professor is differentIf you have back-to-back classes, the general rule is to schedule your first exam 1 hour earlier
7 Important Notes about Exam Rescheduling We will ask you to contact ODS Testing at with changes. We will update it in the system and you will receive an with the changes to the form.Discuss and communicate any changes with your instructor and the ODS testing staff. This is important if you are planning to take the exam at ODS but at a different time or date to ensure we have enough space to accommodate you and to eliminate wait time.Conversely, if you are not taking your exam at ODS as originally scheduled, it is important to inform the testing staff so we do not save you a seat that another student could use.
