5 The Process You Should Do Prior to Submitting an Electronic Sign Up Sheet
Meet with your counselor and obtain an accommodation letter. Make an appointment to meet with your Professor to review your accommodation letter and testing accommodations. At this meeting, you should suggest times that work for your schedule/extended time needs and that are within the ODS office hours to take your exam. Fill out Single Test Sign-up form as necessary per exam per class on-line at least 3 business days in advance or we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your request.

6 Tips for Discussing Exam Conflicts with Your Instructors
Schedule a meeting with your instructor Prepare for this meeting by having a list of dates and times that will work for your schedule Make sure that these proposed dates and times are not unreasonable and that you can justify why the time or date is an option Remember: Professors generally do not mind if students start their exams earlier than the class if the times overlap; however, each professor is different If you have back-to-back classes, the general rule is to schedule your first exam 1 hour earlier

7 Important Notes about Exam Rescheduling
We will ask you to contact ODS Testing at with changes. We will update it in the system and you will receive an with the changes to the form. Discuss and communicate any changes with your instructor and the ODS testing staff. This is important if you are planning to take the exam at ODS but at a different time or date to ensure we have enough space to accommodate you and to eliminate wait time. Conversely, if you are not taking your exam at ODS as originally scheduled, it is important to inform the testing staff so we do not save you a seat that another student could use.

You may still be able to take your exam at ODS. You will have to wait. ODS has a limited number of seats and priority goes to students who have signed- up ahead of time. You will need to give your information to an ODS proctor for our records, while we prepare your exam. ODS only prepares exams and materials for students who have signed up with us.

19 What You Can Expect When You Take Your Test at ODS
Be patient, especially if you signed up late or did not sign up at all Be patient even if you signed up and come 10 minutes early Sometimes instructors do not send the exams over until minutes before the class time This is out of our hands and we do our best to serve you as quickly as possible Put bags, laptops, and cellphones away in the lockers No timers Receiving a sticky note that lists your assigned seat, start time, and end time It is EXTREMELY important that you sit in the correct assigned seat so we can find you if your instructor makes a correction on the exam, if you have a question on your exam, or if your time has expired.

20 Important Exam Dates to Remember
