Notice: You need to key in “:8080” when you are using Local Area Network.
Then, you can access the webpage.

SUSIAccess FAQs What bandwidth is required for the client during normal logging operation and during a remote control session? For data transmission only, about 1KB; for remote KVM control, 0.1MB under the condition that the client side uses a display with resolution 800x bits.

SUSIAccess FAQs If the server is offline, are the status logs buffered on the client and pushed up to the server when communication is re-established? The server sends the request to the clients every 5~10 seconds, and then each client will respond with the information of hardware/software status. Therefore, when the server is back to online from the offline status, it will automatically retrieve the data from the clients every 5~10 seconds.

SUSIAccess FAQs How do we install and set up Acronis and McAfee? The SOP: You click the “install” command from the server side, and then key in the company name & serial number from the flyers we sent you.

SUSIAccess FAQs How does McAfee work on my system? When you activate McAfee, it will start to build the white-list that includes all current software applications which run on your system. Then, any other software application can not be installed on this system.

SUSIAccess FAQs Can I make an Acronis backup image remotely from the local terminal? For now, what we can do is to partition the HDD of your local device and then make the backup image on the partitioned part locally.

SUSIAccess FAQs How will the ongoing renewals be arranged, through Advanpos or through local Acronis and McAfee channel? The Acronis & McAfee we provide are special versions embedded in SUSIAccess. Therefore, any update that can be performed needs to be issued by Advantech SUSIAccess team.

SUSIAccess FAQs What is HDD health indicator? Likely Symptoms
Below 60%: It will automatically check disk very often. Below 50%: Unable to read the data, and therefore become blue screen Below 30%: BIOS POST could show no bootable disk Algorithm SMART Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology

SUSIAccess FAQs Can I read health indicator if my storage is SSD? Yes, if your SSD is SATA3. However, if your indicator is below 80%, you really need to replace your SSD. Notice: It’s better to use SSD from Advantech corporate.

SUSIAccess FAQs Can SUSIAccess support RAID? No, we still can’t detect storage information if there is RAID chip over the storage devices.

SUSIAccess FAQs What can I do if I lose SUSIAccess which is pre-installed from AdvanPOS? If your HDD crashes during the warranty period, we can send you a new HDD with your initial status. You need to keep the product sticker & license flyers.

SUSIAccess FAQs Why can’t I turn on my remote POS terminal? There will be two ways to carry out Power-On command. Wake-On-LAN: You need to make sure the firewall of your router/server won’t block Wake-On-Lane command. Intel AMT: You need Intel i5 or higher level chipset to activate AMT.
