9 Business Impact Expectations and realities set from day 1 (grads do not always have a realistic view of a graduate job) More emphasis on: ethical behaviour, roles and responsibilities and use of Logica Artefacts Changing internal perceptions of undergraduate capability (problems obtaining initial assignments) Increased value of graduate (3 years experience) Flexible programme tailored to the business needs

10 Summary Logica Senior and Project Managers have added value Students are receiving a positive learning experience Students are being recognised for this work and it is seen as part of their personal development Mentors support the process but need support themselves Mentors to gain recognition for coaching and mentoring role
