6 SUMMARY OF THE SCENAIRO ▪ Turkey, Syria and Iran are influential actors in the Middle Eastern politics. While the US administration accuses Syria and Iran for supporting terrorism in the region, and building WMD’s (weapons of mass destruction), historically there have been close relations and cooperation between Turkey, Syria and Iran. ▪ Simultaneously, Turkey and the US are strategic allies.

7 FOCUS QUESTIONS ▪ Is cooperation still possible among Turkey, Syria and Iran considering the current state of relations vis-a-vis the US policies in the Middle East?
