Important Dates: Picture Day Thursday, October 3 rd during athletics Stephenville B Team Tournament Saturday, September 28th Stephenville A Team Tournament Saturday, October 5th Middle School night at the High School Volleyball Game Tuesday, October 8th Game Order Change Belton MS 10-10-13 & South Belton MS 10-17-13 We will play both 7 th grade teams at the same time & both 8 th grade teams at the same time. 7B, 7A- Simultaneously in different gyms 8B, 8A- Simultaneously in different gyms Game Date Change FROM Wednesday 11-6 TO Monday 11-4

In Season Practice Schedule 7 th Grade: 7:00 am- 7:45 am & during 4 th period athletics 8 th Grade: 3:30 pm- 5:00 pm & during 7 th period athletics

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION YOUR DAUGHTER WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A JERSEY BEFORE EACH GAME, THEY HAVE TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN SPANDEX, KNEE PADS & APPROPRIATE TENNIS SHOES This equipment is property of MISD and must be returned. Your son will be required to replace any lost or damaged equipment per MISD policy

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION CONTINUED Equipment to Purchase Your daughter will need to purchase athletic clothes. They are $20 for the set, or can be purchased individually ($10 for shirt, $10 for shorts).

EXPECTATIONS OF PLAYERS 1.Pass all classes every six weeks 2.Be on time with all equipment 3.Be respectful to coaches, administrators, and teachers 4.Follow all MISD policies 5.Call us when your daughter will not be here

PARENT/COACH RELATIONSHIPS AT MIDWAY Understanding and respecting the position of both parents and coaches will help enhance the athletic experience for our athletes.

For a Conference Call Coach Norman to set up an appointment Conferences may include other coaches or administrators Please do not attempt to confront a coach after a game or practice. Emotions are running too high and will not result in a positive resolution

Parent Code of Conduct 1.Love and support your child and the team, win or lose 2.Be realistic about your child’s abilities 3.Be positive and encouraging at all times 4.Do not come to the fence, field, or court to during a game to talk to your DAUGHTER 5.Respect the coach’s decisions and encourage others to do the same 6.Realize that we are in this together!

Sport Specific Policies/Procedures Remember no food is to be dropped off at the front office! We will let students know the drop off times at least a day in advance. Food needs to be dropped off in the teacher parking lot (off Regal) Parents taking athletes home from away contests: You MUST sign your child out. There will be consequences if your child forgets to do this. Your child, under NO circumstances, cannot leave with someone other than you.
