4.  Actually!!! Toads ARE Frogs!!!

5. Toads-usually have dry, warty skin and short hind legs for walking. Frogs-usually have smooth, moist skin and long, strong, webbed hind legs for swimming and jumping.

6. Frogs-generally live in moist climates and lay eggs in clusters.  Toads- generally live in drier climates and lay eggs in long chains. without moisture oxygen would not pass easily through the skin and the frog would suffocate.

7. Toads-eyes are positioned within the framework of their face and head. Frogs-eyes are located on the top of the head, so they can sit in water and still see around.

8. Frogs (toads)  Are found anywhere there’s fresh water, from deserts to the artic.  AND as high as 15,000 foot mountain slopes!!!

9. About once a week frogs shed their skin – THEN - they eat it!!!! Hungry???
