Registering Significant portions of our site are only viewable by registered users when they are logged in. Generally, registration is limited to individuals who are registered to vote as Democrats in Bernalillo County. Registration is easy! Just look in the right panel of any page and you’ll see a Login form. Below the form you’ll see the words “Forgot login?” followed by “Register”. Click on the “Register” and you’ll be taken to a form that will ask for information about yourself. Don’t worry... we won’t share your information with anybody without your permission, but we do need enough information to confirm your registration status. (Click anywhere to read more) * Exceptions may include Democrats who are registered elsewhere, and in a few rare cases Greens and non-aligned voters. *

Registering (Page 2) When the registration form opens, at the very least, you’ll be required to provide your first name, middle initial, last name, email address, your preferred username, your chosen password (twice, to check for possible typos) and your ward number. If you don’t know your ward number, enter “00” and we’ll look it up for you later. Also, your precinct number (if you know it) and your address will be helpful when we confirm you. Other information is optional.

Registering (Page 3) Once you’re done putting in your basic information scroll down to find the “Register” button below the form. Click on it and your information will be sent to the site administrators for confirmation. Confirmation could take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, but you’ll receive an email once we’ve confirmed your eligibility. After the confirmation you’ll be able to log in and see the restricted areas of the site. Please remember to update your profile (you’ll see the link for that right below the “Register” link on any page) anytime your information changes so that we can stay in touch.

Logging In Logging in is not significantly different than logging in at just about any other password-protected web site. The Login section can be found in the right-hand panel of any page of the site. Remember that you must be logged in to view the restricted pages of the site, including those that allow you to contact other users or submit events if you’re authorized to do so. Please be sure to keep your profile updated. The screen for updating your profile also includes the provides the opportunity to change your password if you wish. Despite the fact that the form warns the user that information submitted there Is viewable to registered users, only administrators and county officers, besides yourself, will be able to see your contact information and nobody will be able to see your password. It will appear as a series of bullets, even to administrators.

Current Events Like many other areas of the site, the Current Events section has different levels of usage for different levels of users. The list of events is open for anyone to view or print out (find out more). Posting of new events is limited to specific users. Contributors from wards, campaigns and other organizations can submit event information directly. Submissions are, however, subject to approval by the site administrators.find out more If you’ve been informed that you have rights to submit event information, here’s the process (find out more).find out more

Current Events Viewing, Printing and Posting All users, both registered and guests, can view and print the Current Events. Additionally, certain registered users can post new events directly. Authorization to post events to this page is being given to all ward chairs and selected users from organizations and campaigns. If you’ve been authorized to post your ward’s or organization’s events you view the instructions for how to post by going here. All users, guests and registered, whether logged in or not, can print out a listing of the upcoming events including time and location, by clicking on the small printer icon just above and to the right of the listing.going here This will open a new printer-friendly page with the same icon in the far upper- right corner of the page.
