4 Personality,- connotes variously, physical attractiveness, charm, good nature, ease of manner or any other form of behavior or attitude that induces a favorable impression. Heredity and environment i.e. social both play a major part in the development of a persons total personality. 5 Social determinants Personality development-social interaction- starting parentally, geared-up in schooling & continued over life time depending on various factors,- » Parents; » Family members; » Siblings; » Non-family relationships; » Peer relationships; » Schooling; » Extracurricular activity ;

6 Variables of Social factors: Background variables of social factors,- Age Education Occupation Residence Income Family size Family structure

7 Hurdles in Per-grooming Shyness------------loneliness Sensitivity---------ill temper Self absorbedness----isolation Aggressiveness-----intolerance Self underestimation-------low confidence Socialization, Gaming and extracurricular activity

8 End result: "Personality is the product of our native being, as it is molded and developed by the experiences and the influences we meet through life. When we are shunned by playmates after a fit of temper, we learn that temper doesn't pay. When generosity is repaid with the warm thanks of someone we like, we learn that it pays to be generous. But the wise person seeks for more than just the accidental and casual experiences that mold personality. He goes out of his way to find those things that mold a good personality...that leave one a bit stronger, a bit more capable of copping with the events of life.” (Louis G. LaMair)
