4. Pre-Lab Questions: (write out the questions and answer) 1.How many different types of charges do you think exist in the universe? 2.How do you think objects are charged? 3.What do think “electricity” is?

5. Materials:  2 Acetate strips (clear strips)  2 Vinyl strips (white strips)  Paper  Ring stand

Investigation  Procedures and questions are at the lab tables  You need to restate the lab questions  Answer all question in complete sentences  Fold the paper into 1/4 when charging  Hold strips “next to” or face to face  Recycle the printer paper when finished  Return to the desks after you answer question #12
