4 Question Is there a difference in DFW rates and course GPA between IMPACT and Non-IMPACT courses? Population Courses with at least one instructor who has gone through IM:PACT during – Fall 2011, Spring 2012, Fall 2012, Spring 2013, Fall 2013

5 Is there a difference between IM:PACT and Non IM:PACT Sections? Not really. Some differences are indicated, but the trend is there are no differences between IM:PACT and Non-IM:PACT sections

8 Question: Does participation in IM: PACT courses improve retention to the institution after one year? IM:PACT Retention Rates Population

9 Answer: Patterns indicate that there is no difference in retention to the university through participation in an IM:PACT course

10 Courses with increased retention (<+2%) Courses with decreased retention (<-2%) Fall 2011 Cohort: 1 course Spring 2012 Cohort: 2 courses Spring 2013 Cohort: 5 courses Spring 2012 Cohort: 3 courses Fall 2012 Cohort: 2 courses Spring 2013 Cohort: 2 courses Answer: There are some courses that do show changes in retention after IM:PACT.
