Needle/stitch Plate – stitching guide/ruler
Presser Foot – holds the fabric to the machine as you sew
Needle Clamp Screw – holds the needle tight in the machine
Thread Guide – directs thread to needle
Take-up Lever – pulls the thread from the spool and feeds it to the needle
Thread Tension Slot
Thread Tension Dial – controls the tension of both upper and lower threads
Bobbin Winding Tension – controls tension when winding bobbin
Bobbin Winding Spindle – bobbin is placed here when winding with thread
Release Lever – turns off bobbin winding mechanism/thread cutter
Reverse Feed Button – puts your machine in reverse (you can sew “backwards”)

Stitch Width Control – controls the width of your stitch
Needle Position Control – controls the position of the needle (you can move it right and left)
Stitch Length Control – controls the length of your stitch
