1  9/24  Put name on spreadsheet.  Staple work to spreadsheet if you have an extra sheet of work.  Prior to turning in the spreadsheet record your current account balance on your new spreadsheet. Description should say, “account balance”.  Place old spreadsheet in purple basket.  Put new spreadsheet in binder/folder.

2  9/25  Time to fall into autumn fashion. You go to Macy’s and purchase a sweater for $35.99, a pair of pants for $45.50, and a long sleeve t- shirt for $19.99.  Determine the total amount you spent at Macy’s and record in your spreadsheet as “Macy’s.”

3  9/26  Since the Reds are in town this weekend you decide to take your family to the game. Your work is offering discount tickets for $19 each.  Determine the cost of tickets for your family.  Record in spreadsheet as “Red’s Tickets.”

4  9/27  Since you are going to the reds game you decide to buy new Red’s t-shirts and luckily they are on sale at Kohl’s. You purchase two adult shirts for $15 each and two youth shirts for $9.99 each.  Determine the total cost of the four shirts and record in spreadsheet as “Kohl’s.”

5  9/30  No problem

6  10/1  Oh no!!!! Your checking account has been hacked and a thief stole $500!!!  Record in spreadsheet as “Thief.”

7  10/2  Your electric bill is due. You pay Owen Electric $315.24.  Record in spreadsheet as “Owen Electric.”

8  10/3  Thank goodness you have a checking account protection plan because your bank has given you a $500 refund for the money that was stolen.  Record on spreadsheet as “refund.”

9  10/4  Your family decided to attend Wool Fest. It costs $5 per person to enter. You spend $45.99 on craft items and $25.00 on food.  Determine the total amount of money you spent at Wool Fest and record in spreadsheet as “Wool Fest.”  HAVE A GREAT FALL BREAK!!!

10  10/14  Fall Break was way too much fun!!! Your family went to the art museum (cost was $4 total for parking), shopping (You spent $250.35), swimming at the YMCA($50 for the swim pass) and all saw a movie ($65.50 for tickets and snacks).  Add all of your fall break expenses and record in spreadsheet as “Fall Break.”  Spreadsheet is due on Wednesday, October 16 th !!! Check all calculations using link on my webpage.

11  10/15  It is time to pay for your mortgage. Your mortgage costs $1215.35.  Record in spreadsheet as “Mortgage.”  Check all calculations using link online and be ready to turn in tomorrow.
