God’s Power “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 9:15 “It does NOT, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.” 9:16 “Therefore God has mercy on whom He wants to have mercy, and He hardens whom He wants to harden.” 9:18 Rom.9

8. The Wrong Response results in… “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day.” Rom.10

10. How do the 2 work together? “…at the present time there is a remnant chosen by GRACE …it cannot be based on works” 11:5 “Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God:” 11:22 Rom.11

11. How do the 2 work together? DON’T make the same mistake that the Israelites made…trying to be and do good to be accepted by God. Daily plug into God’s power, by confessing Jesus is Lord and believing in resurrection power! Be real and cry out to God for help! Rom.11
